When I used to fish out of a Skeeter Starfire 175, it would soak the entire boat... It looked like a tidal wave coming in

I do it on purpose sometime. Rinse off the rear and put some water through the bilge pump to clear any insects that may have moved in.
And I know who "Jeff" is.

Both skeeters, as did the Triton and now my COBRA all experience issue; chalk it up to life in the fast lane. Learn to ease into your stops. Here's another tip, warm up your motor BEFORE putting the hammer down. Warm up = 75yd. Idle.

I've had my 721 for 5 years, if you shut it down quick it will come over the back. As it settles, goose it one time and it takes care of it. Not a big deal, just a learning curve.

My last boat would always take on a little water, so it wasn't an issue. *** I would keep a bar of Ivory soap in the well, and the it stayed squeaky clean for as long as I owned the boat.

2 Worst boats I owned that did it were Skeeters. I have a Triton now and don't have that problem anymore!

Bingo. I do the same thing with my FX 21.
