Many went up the rivers and being slaughtered by bankers and yakers. Monsters, midsized, and under hibbies. There are a few in the lake but you have to work extra hard and be lucky at the right spot. Hubbard fish have been roaming and don't resort to structures much these days.

Went out in the wind on Friday and caught a bunch of 10-12" crappie over by the red barn. Then I had a pole with a tiny thump but when I picked it up the thing took off. I had 8lb mono on. When I finally got it up to the surface it had the body of a Hybrid but was yellow. Like a dummy I went to pick it up instead of getting the net and the line snapped. If it was a yellow bass it was the biggest one I have ever seen. Either way. Good time!!
