Hello all,

We are moving to San Antonio and would like to go surf fishing ASAP (also fly fishing salt and fresh water). I have been in Port A (for work) but was wondering around SA what will be the closest destination for decent saltwater fishing? Is it Port A the best option? Which are the best months for inshore fishing?

Thank you all for the help.

Hey, welcome to Texas! That's your first big move. PortA offers some good surf fishing. I'd start off at the jetties or near it in PortA and you'll quickly learn where the fish are caught. Good luck

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!
