Is anyone fishing Denton Creek above Trophy Club? How’s the ramp at the park?

The lake is up 5' so the TC ramp banks are flooded, I was there last Saturday. With all the brush and trees you'll likely have to ground the boat on the concrete ramp, or have someone hold you off and afloat. The parking area is high and dry, several folks had launched their boats (5-6 empty trailers in the lot).
I was practicing getting bank-skunked. So, I have no information about fishing above the TC ramp. Except for floating structure hammer you should be able to get way up the creek.

Is there parking on 377? I seem to remember they were ticketing people a few years ago. That used to be a great place for bank fishermen when you could park by the overpass and walk in.

You can't park by 377, or between the railroad, all signed or blocked. You will have to park at the parking lot and walk a long way up.

Found some fish in Henrietta creek and the Game Warden is out there doing his checks so have your boats ready and license available.

Trophy club ramp was fine yesterday. Most boats will get a short ways beyond Henrietta. Fishing was good in the morning.

On foot, looking at aerial map. Is that Henrietta just west of 377, coming in from north? And is there any value in crossing the bridge and walking in from south side?

You can hike in to the hole where Denton and Henrietta creek meet from the subdivision south of there.

I went out yesterday but it was a tough fishing day but I didn’t go very far upstream. The guys that went as far as they could get had limits.

Any new updates on the river? Have the sandbass moved up yet?
