I'm planning on heading out Saturday morning, launching at Loyd Park and paddling up Walnut Creek a bit. I haven't seen any reports on this area for a while so I thought I would check. I'll be in a red Malibu X-Factor and with a couple of other yakkers, come by and say hi.

I was out two weekends ago and it was real tough. Tried everything except the creeks but heard they were not so good either. Marked plenty of fish but no bites. My son did catch a few good bass while we were spider rigging near the dam. Again that was two weeks ago. I would think by now something has got to be biting good.

Walnut creek has been seriously altered under 360 and you could easily paddle west of there if you wanted.

We were out yesterday and didnt find anything in the creeks. Decided to troll down the dam and found some in the coves on the NE side of the dam by the state park. Not a ton but at least they bit.

We were out on Saturday but nothing was biting where the creek met the lake, I talked to a couple of guys that had caught a few crappie, but it was generally slow for everyone.
The water was still pretty muddy looking.
