Looking for somewhere to take the wife and daughter(2yrs) next week. Can take the boat if needed but really just looking for a place to hang out and do a little bank/pier fishing. Any suggestions?

Another vote for Bluegill Cabins. Some of the cabins even have hot tubs overlooking the many ponds. Not too many bass, but the gills & cats are plentiful. We took the entire family including 6 grandkids & stayed in the Bunkhouse. We had a blast!

Gary Yamamoto's Sugoi Lakes in Mineola. Great lodge/room s, good fishing and feels secluded. They have battery powered boats too but you catch a ton from the bank. First double digit bass i ever caught came from there.
