It has been said on the IBC Facebook page that the IBC open tournaments on Lake Fork happen on the third weekend of the month of April and October. Please don't hold me to this. It's a great tournament but the IBC publishing tournament dates is always been crazy. I never know when it's coming till I see a flyer.

Thanks Bruce for the confirmation on that date. Like I mentioned in my first post, it was only mentioned to be on the third weekend in April, the date was not confirmed. I can now plan my April Fishing around the tournament date. I like the IBC Open and try to fish it every year.

Bruce, sorry I just saw this post. DPT is the Dallas Plumbing Company Tournament. It has been going on for some 40 years. It's a company tournament that typically has between 15 to 25 teams. It typically takes 25 pounds to win (10 fish stringer). We fish on Cypress Springs in April or March.

water should probably be down by then I would hope the lake is at pool by then. If the lake is closed they will move the tournament to Bob Sandlin or adjust the date.

The Irving Bass Club April open is Saturday 4/21 out of Popes Landing.Registration Friday 4/20 4-11pm and again Saturday Morning 4am until 7am.
