Umm.... I hope you're kidding lickmypot. If you're not you need to lay off the pot and learn your fish. I google crappie and it looks like crappie. also another guy say is a crappie that fishing next to me. if is not, i apologize for say wrong fish.

LickMyPot, I don't think what you caught are crappie. they are sand bass. but small size. Could you please tell the location where you caught them? at firewheel parkway bridge or pleasant valley road? Thanks.

LickMyPot, I don't think what you caught are crappie. they are sand bass. but small size. Could you please tell the location where you caught them? at firewheel parkway bridge or pleasant valley road? Thanks. Don't fall for this post. My goodness I'm pretty sure I got dumber reading these posts. They get better every year. Hope y'all get on the sand bass this year though. Won't be able to make the run this time. I'm hoping to get them up here in Arkansas here in a couple weeks. Just waiting for the water to heat up a little bit.

Has anyone been out there recently? Thinking about taking my 5 year old this weekend, just want to make sure the creek has gone down enough to fish safely.

Hey scuba, what day were you planning to go. I also plan to take my son (7yr) creek fishing havent figured where. Its between lewisville or RC not sure which has suitable conditions. never been to either
