If you gradually advance the throttle in forward ( Under load ) you will probably hit a point where RPMs will start dropping . Jets not feeding properly . Best of luck .

I was trying all different kinds of things to correct the problem and ending up blowing the power head. I would absolutely not run it anymore until the carbs have been cleaned. If you restrict fuel, you also restrict oil, then you melt her down. Set the hook first, ask questions later!!!
