When I set up my card on the PC, it doesn't matter what graph the card will be used in does it? I have HB 898c SI but plan to upgrade to Helix mega 10 SI G2N in the near future. I assume I can swap the card between units later. Any other set up tips I should know?

Navionics cards work in both Lowrance & H-bird, so the download shouldn't care when you download on to what I assume is a '+' card.

As Rob stated above, for the most part it does not matter what graph you are running as far as Humminbird models when doing the download and/or updates.
