I bought my yak last month. this whole kayak thing is just to cool. then I load the boat with fish, what a bonus!!
At $2.80 a gallon I cant afford to even start the merc on my boat.
my kayak on the other hand gets about 3 miles to the 1/2 gallon of water. LOL!!!

That was a good idea with those stabilizers!! A little custom engineering eh? Nice stringer.

are those coleman fuel tanks?
great catch, what type of species is laying under the catfish?
what bait were you using for that mix?

Well lets see. the pontoons are 2- 5 1/2x20" boat fenders.
The catch in the footwell is a spotted bass, LM bass, 2-white bass, 2-crappie and a near 4lb channel cat all caught on a white 1/8oz spinner bait. also caught a bunch of yellowbellys that day.
here is another pic of the yak.

You can mount a trolling motor on that yak and it will get you around faster and farther ...thus more mpg of water wink

Very nice. Trolling motor means registration though!

Any motorized water vessel in Texas has to be registered, no exceptions for electric powered vessels.
