Back in the 50s when LOP was fairly new they held their water pretty high over the winter and when the spring rains came they dumped water big time and flooded Caddo. My best friends family had a cabin and had water chest deep in it. The lake level had to be at least 10 - 12' above normal. But we filled several ice chests full of bluegill fishing out of the doorways of the cabin.  Goes to show that when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
