I knew something had to be going on because the fishing has been great around Costello and Willow Beach area all winter until mid January. The striper and black bass activity was tremendous then all of a sudden they were gone from that area. No shad or anything.

I thought golden algae was a cold weather stagmnent water bloom. I know it's been cold, but the lake has came up almost 1/2 a foot in a week. Like mentioned earlier, I hope not!

Its nothing that didnt Happen last year and year before and fishing was phenomenal last year. Ive talked to 3 locals each one basically said fake news it happens every year not near like the bad golden algae blooms of the past. Hopefully theyre right

Fishing was awesome last year but the people Ive heard this from are from the area and Fish the lake too.
