 looking for reports on Brazos River in Granbury

Anybody have any tips on bank fishing the Brazos River in Granbury?
I'm trying for cats and bluegills and hoping there just might be some sandies swimming around.
Any tips would be much appreciated.

fish from the pier by the bridge on tin top road, lot of folks fish there so they must be catchin something.

I believe that's a private pier. They'll run you off if you don't live in the community out there.

PS Crappie fishing is usually good under that pier.

Are you sure? I have fished from that pier many of times and have never been ran off by anyone.

That is the one that I am talking about(north side of river). I have not seen another pier around there unless it is across the river. I have not been on that side(south side of river).

Yea, I was refering to the one by the public ramp, the one directly across the river I have heard is private, lots of timber around it too.
