What water temp is it that gets them up the river? I went last year at the end of feb and did pretty good. Just cant remember the temp.

I hope all this rain doesn't cool down the water and slow the fishing. Which atm of the river is best to go? We just fished the Colorado side last year.

Water was 62-63 up the llano by the rocks. Caught about 20. 10 keepers and more than half were fat females plum full of eggs. Saw a guy did really well up Colorado arm past the rocks below the dam. Supposedly thats the spot to go just watch for rocks

Went out today and came away with 18. One was a hybrid, that was a good fight.

Usually 55 is when they start and anywhere from 58-65 is when the run peaks.
