Ill be there sunday and never fished or seen the lake before just wondering if anyone has a pic of of boat lanes on the lake?

There was a hand drawn map posted here a while ago. Looked pretty good to me but I'm not an expert.

Allen i searched for it an came up with nothing maybe it was to long ago?

I posted what I saw on the "Lake Palestine" thread.

You have to get very specific on your searches. I used "Martin" and "subject only" and narrowed the search to just the "Bass Fishing" section. I also searched for one year not really remembering how old the thread was.

First pic its def safer to stay on the far left shoreline along the dam then turn.
2d pic watch out for that hump about 200 yards past the bridge! lowlight or raining you won't see it.
3d pic when I was there in Jan the lake was low so lots more stuff sticking up than usual. Recent rains may have fixed that but it never hurts to idle if unsure.

how'd it go over there?? was the water super muddy? has to be getting pretty full now.

full pool...my two best holes finally have some water now and the fish have definitely found it quick... sadly was only there for 2.5 hours, but its getting right!

Thanks for the report! Yeah last Feb was almost perfect level wise and the last 6 months or so until now has been way too low! At least for me.

Is the ramp closest to the dam public? It looks like a big parking lot and the ramp has fencing on both sides.

I�m in a rv spot in the park now but I�d rather launch over there if possible so I can Pull up on shore for breaks etc.

I fished About 45 minutes this evening. Only stayed close to the ramp cus I hadn�t reviewed this thread in a while and didn�t want to run at all. I just got my boat back from having gator hull installed.

The only public ramp at Martin is at the State Park.
