does anyone have some insight on these blanks, I have a bunch of glx rods and was wondering if I would find a decrease in sensitivity or not.

I would just stick with the GLX. I mean those are super sensitive rods, and in my opinion you'd be taking a step down in rod blank.

The super high modulas blanks are awesome. Good enough I’ve sold my loomis rods and switched to building my own MHX so I can Get the length and power I want

I have built a lot of rods out of MHx blanks in my life. They are very good rod blanks never had any problems with them and the sensitivity is as good as any blank out there. Believe me try them you will like them.

I have nothing but great results with the MHX. A good friend makes custom rods and that's the blanks he uses. I have 9 rods with those blanks, three of em are c-rods and all of the rods have titanium eyes and are really great rods.!!!!

I really like my MHX rods, reality is though I feel I can get just as good and already built for the same price as me building them. That being said as a hobby I want to build a few with the newer blanks.

I have had my last 4 rods custom built by Kevin Smith of Shamrock Rod and Reel Services using the MHX rod blanks and look to get 4 or 5 more. Really like them especially the SB812 blank which I have as my Chatterbait/Spinnerbait rod. I like that I could have him build the grip, guides etc. the way I wanted the rod to be.

I have used MHX blanks and they are as good as any out there and I have made rods since we just has fiberglass. Have used Fenwick, GLomis, and several others although I don't make many rods anymore I believe the MHX are as good as any out there.

I build my own rods and I use the MHX blanks. The standard blank is a good workhorse blank, but on rods where sensitivity is important, the high modulus is a better choice. Another good thing about the MHX blanks is that they are true to power.

Great blanks, I've built on a bunch of blanks, gloomis IMX( when they sold their blanks), Phoenix, st croix, mhx and Rogue blanks. The most sensitive of all these are the Rogue blanks. If I were to do a build for myself today it would be rogue. There not cheap $110-119, but man they are worth it. If that's not your price point then it's hard to beat mhx. Very sensitive and maybe the best deal out there.
