I'm having luck throwing Texas rigged creature baits. The slower the retrieve, the better.

It all depends on the pond too. I was throwing a cheap black and blue spinner in a pond and was pulling tons of fish. Its only 12 feet deep at its max. I will say Im going to be throwing Texas rigged craw when I go back in a few weeks.

I fish primarily ponds. I always have the following tied on. H&H spinner. Senko with a 1/4 oz weight, retrieve slow with pauses Zoom super fluke, sometimes weightless, sometimes with weighted hook Weightless soft plastic frog, various retrieve methods. Hollow body Spro frog. I tend to catch more with poppers Its still a little early for the frogs. Had success yesterday with senko and h&h
