How is the salvinia at murvaul? Heard some reports that it was getting thick up above the bridge. That stuff can get bad in a hurry. It’s a shame to see what it has done to Caddo. It's not bad. The lake board and state are trying to keep it in check as best they can. You will see some but it's nothing like Caddo Lake.

The lake board and state are trying to keep it in check as best they can. You will see some but it's nothing like Caddo Lake. Good. I quit trailering my big boat to Caddo a couple of years ago. I just leave a small flat bottom at our cabin permanently there to fish out of when I go over to avoid infecting other lakes around...... it’s bad news stuff for sure.

Caddo is a lake I alwanted to fish in the spring when the crappie were in the cypress knees... They’ll turn on big time about the last week of March through the end of April. Very fun way to fish when they spawn around the base of the cypress trees

I grew up fishing pitching Corks at trees in lake Wright Patman....always wanted to fish the cypress trees, never could get the elders to take me over there...maybe one day, I’ll make it...

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?
