This section is south of the White Rock Lake between Military Pkw & Scyene Rd(hwy352) in the Dolphin Heights area of Dallas. This will affect the fishing in the Parkdale Lake and Lawnview Park community. This section of WRC has fed a lot families for generations.I hope it does`nt lead to a consumption ban.

Amazing how bold people, companies and those in charge making decisions, will choose to be.

Have the sandbass made a recovery? I mostly catch Crappie and Bass up the creek.
Heard the sandbass fishing use to be epic in the creek but gill netters wiped them out.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

One year about 6 years ago I caught an 8 inch sandbass every cast. Another year I caught 14 to 16 inchers. Haven't been much last few years but heard the cast netters depleted the crappie and sandbass

I dont think I would worry about it, just soap, from what could be surmised...might have some clean fish though...no hazardous chemicals, regardless of what the local liberal dweeb might say, to grab some headlines...or restated, its not likely to harm either the environment or the fish...

Fish in this lake and creek already eat a lot of pesticide and weed killer.

guess it must take a brain and common sense.........liquid soap is bad as noted by Aquiles. First it will change the pH of the water severely. It will kill most of the organisms in the food chain and duh..... there will be some other chemicals that will remain in the environment for some time. Which is why its not cool to just poor detergent in the water.....
Knuckleheads kill me with this liberal -vs- conservative BS. Just poorly educated knuckleheads on both sides. I like my fishing hole clean of all chemicals except the ones God added to the water.
And I detest folks that mix fishing and politics. Fishermen are above this. We ask what is biting and the bait. Please keep this forum politics free or go to MSNBC or Fox.
