Just looking for more opinions on the Whisker Seekers and comparisons to other rods? I have 10 pro angler/abu 6500's that i typically use on these smaller west texas lakes and a set of Tangling with Catfish/Abu 7000's that I use for tournament fishing. I'm wanting something a tad bit lighter than the tangling with catfish rod, will be using for nice/tournament rigs but also want (I will keep the TWC rods for big rivers)
I'm gonna miss her....

Seriously though. You already know what I think about them. So just come on out Thursday and see what you think! (Gotta put us on fish first, that is)

Im using 7 whisker seekers rods now. In my opinion they are just right for the type of catfishing we do here in Texas lakes. They have all the backbone you need for handeling big fish in cover, but are still light enough to enjoy the fight of smaller fish. They also have a nice soft tip that works well on hookups when using circle hooks.

I also switched from PA and rippin lips rods to the whisker seeker rods. They cost more, but theyre worth it to me.

They cant keep anything in stock have been trying to get a scale from them and have been out of stock for over a month. by the time they will get them in it will over for winter blues. One of mine bit the dust and have been waiting but cant wait forever. I guess I will go to another scale.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I just got my scales from them bout a month ago guess they sold out again. Smoky I have a couple of their rods and really like them I use them for blues and channels mine are MH but I really like the tips. I see you are in Texoma there is a store in Gainesville that carries their products you could see and handle the rods before you buy mine were a little more from the store than the web but still cheaper tan shipping.

Pond King has the rods and hooks line and a few other items in the main building and then has more tackle in the metal building outside they have whisker seeker stuff in stock or they will order it for you I was also pleased with their triple threat hooks. I like them as well if not more than TC double action hooks they are a little cheaper and come four to a pack in 8/0 size
