After Rob and I enjoyed a day on Cedar Creek with Dennis Christian Thursday (see his latest report) we decided to stay the night in Corsicana and drive over to Whitney Friday to try our luck. Started slow marked a large school suspended 35ft in 50 fow but had a hard time getting them to bite. Later Robs son Kent joined us and we started finding and catching a few here and there. Checking spots in the main lake around the river channel, shad were hanging around 30fow so that was our target depth. Then we headed North to the bridge and the fun began, found a good school feeding and we were hooking up pretty steady. It was 2:00 and that seems to be the peak time for sandbass on Whitney lately. Ended with 56 on the clicker all released.

Kent and Rob, Kent is also holding the one I caught.
