My Dad and I hit Buchanan today looking for whites and stripers. We ended the day with 36 whites and 4 keeper stripers up to 5lbs. Man, who ever invented thumping sure was a genius, I’m not sure we would have caught anything with out thumping. Every fish caught on little jig heads with small shad plastics. Most were in the channels around 40 feet deep. What a fun day with my favorite fishing partner!
