Trying to find the biggest boat that will fit in my garage. I've got 22'4". The new Basscat Pantera Classic is 21'10", but it's 19'6" long. Any 20 footers that you know that will fit? Anybody ever rode/drove the new BC Classic? My buddy has a 96' model and it rides rough as a cobb. Thanks!
2/9/18...UPDATE...for anyone else looking. I have been really looking hard this week at the biggest/best boat I could get in a 22'4" garage...STRAIGHT IN...NO ANGLES...NO FLOOR JACKS...NADA...STRAIGHT IN! I actually took a tape measure with me to a couple of dealerships looking for the biggest boat that would fit the criteria of parking space. The new Basscat Pantera Classic is a 19'6" boat, 90" beam and with motor all the way down and tongue folded is 21'7". The new Cougar Advantage is a 20'4" boat, 94" beam, and with tongue folded and motor all the way down is 22'2" long. Going to ride in both of these over the next week or two. If the Classic rides decent...that's where i'm headed. $20k less. Don't need to go 80 mph and more and 70 mph is plenty fast. As I'm looking thru the Basscat brochure there may be a couple more 20 footers that will also fit. The reason is that the BassCat tongue folds up exactly at the nose of the boat. That generally saves you anywhere from 2 inches to almost 2 feet on some boats that have folding tongues. I'll keep you updated as to how they ride. Thanks for all the feedback!

Good luck. Ive got exactly 1 more foot than you and Im trying to figure out how to get a 20 footer in. Basscat Caracal is the biggest boat, shortest storage I have found. Next in line is an FX 20 right at 23..

I love my Caracal! I came from cougars and pumas. I cannot tell I'm in a 19' boat. I'm on Cedar Creek a bunch of you want to test run one.

My garage is 25ft deep with a 2ft deep work bench (netting 23 usable feet) built along the back wall. My TZX190 Skeeter won't even come close to fitting.

20 plus a 10 or 12 jackplate, then add the motor (Im guessing its about 22-24). Not sure what a merc measures but I think Yamaha is about 3 longer. I dont see a 20 boat fitting in a 22 slot.

My Eyra fits in my garage, barely, by less than an inch. Its so close I have to take the platstic part off the front of my trolling motor, motor trimmed just right, and took out two studs in the back wall. Bass Cats advertised length is spot on. I have a Mercury 250, the Yamaha would not fit.

Ive found one thing that helps is a hydraulic jack plate. I put mine down some from where I normally run it and gain abut a half inch to an inch. Ive got it down now and its fairly easy but it is extremely close.

My Allison XB21 is 22'4" on the trailer with the tongue folded and a 8" jackplate. It is a 21' boat.
