So I know this is not the crappie board but through the last month I've gone out to my dock and dropped a crappie jig to see if they are on the move. Two days ago I caught one. Today within an hour I caught 20. So I suspect for those of you fishing tournaments on the Tylers the fish are on the move to shallow water. As soon as I find some time, I'll go out and toss a red rattletrap. I'll let you know if it goes well.

I still haven't gotten out for bass. But the reports I see after my post aren't the best. But to answer the question asked, crappie are in about nine feet of water and moving back into the cove. I'm still catching them pretty well. For fear of being called out, this is the last of my crappie posts on the Bass Fishing thread. I'm sure the bass will be moving in any day. And as quickly as the crappie moved in the bass will probably do the same in a matter of days.

I won't call you out. That's the only way I can get my wife in the boat is to go crappie fishing!

It was decent last week when I went. 12 2 lbers on a few different baits. Fish thorough, you gotta hit em on the head with it.
