I am looking at getting this kayak. I had tried it out briefly and seems to fit everything I need. I do like to get others opinions and thoughts. Does anyone have any experiences with this kayak? If so, let me know the good and the bad.
Fishing is not a matter of life or death, it's more serious than that.

If it is free I don't see a problem with it ? Grab it and then let us know how it is or let me know who is giving it away and I will take it .

I haven't looked at them since seeing one in an outfitter's store in Florida 8 or 10 years ago. It doesn't look anything like the 12.5 they make now but still incorporates a couple of features that were unique at the time...the molded in grab handles all the way around and the keel wheel. I could see where that wheel was a big plus to folks that use boat ramps to launch from, not so much for me launching from the beach in the sand back then. If you like the color and the price, go for it. I think it would be more popular if more people were familiar with them. Lots of great choices these days... glad I'm not having to go through the buying process. https://feelfreeus.com/kayaks/

I was debating buying one when I was upgrading about 5 years ago. It was between the Moken and an Old Town Predator 13. I liked the Moken but the Predator ultimately won out on ride, size, features and had a much better seat.

I have a feel free moken 10. It paddles like a barge. Extremely stable but painfully slow. I ended up buying another kayak, a native ultimate. It was amazing how much easier it was to paddle and how much faster it was than the moken. The moken seat always hurt my back as well. I ended up mounting a boat seat in it. I wouldn't recommend the moken.

Any 10 ft kayak with 35 inch beam (Moken 10) will feel like a barge when you go to a kayak that is 12 feet or longer and 5 inches more narrow. That is why it is so important to paddle as many different kayaks as possible before buying if you can.

I suspect that his kayak is still a bit faster though.
