Just heard on the news that they recieved the final permit to start construction, completion is scheduled for 2022.


Is this old news, I knew it was on the books didn’t know they were moving forward.

It was originally scheduled for 2018 I believe. Glad to hear they finally got their permits.

Finally! I️ can tell stories of “back when the lake filled up we could catch 40 lbs on 5 fish” to future generations

Nice! 16,600 acres too.

I just hope it gets finished and stocked soon enough that I can enjoy it while I'm still young enough to enjoy it! Ever since I hit my late-40's it seems like time is flying by!!

Yeah me too but I don't mind being 50, it's the new 30. Bet they clear out the trees and stock it with sand bass.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Yeah, when it gets that good they will put too many grass carp in it or spray the grass, then it will just be memories.
