Strange marketing plan. The Ultrex was selling like hotcakes on its own value proposition. From what I heard there are multi-week lead-times from a lot of dealers, so clearly production is not keeping up. If KVD didn't get one he was going to quickly be at a disadvantage. KVD is the one who got the deal here.

Kevin finally got a good trolling motor.  All he needs now is a good boat ...  I bet my Z21 will outrun your little Bass Cat! Nitro is the best boat on the market.   Who said I have a Bass Cat...?

Kevin finally got a good trolling motor. All he needs now is a good boat ... I bet my Z21 will outrun your little Bass Cat! Nitro is the best boat on the market. Who said I have a Bass Cat...? My money is on Huck.

The KVD name drives sales in a big way. Does not matter if the product was already a great seller, now it will be a sell even more. Those three initials dominate in the bass fishing industry and market.

Whatever they pay him to say. Who would ever believe anything that a Pro says about a product that pays them to advertise for it. People do though. Just makes me shake my head about how naive some people can be. (Not talking about you, just making a comment in general) So true, if I'm not mistaken KVD won all of his major titles even before the Xi5 was released. I'm not knocking the new technology but a guy can still be successful without it. That said, I not giving up my Ultrex either.

KVD or no KVD, the ultrex is the single best tool I have ever used in a bass boat, and nothing is even close when it comes to fishing more efficiently. Unlike a lot of accessories and add-ons in the fishing industry, I can honestly say it is worth every penny to those who may spend any more than 15-20 days a year on the water. Mine is barely 6 months old and I cant imagine fishing without it.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

Awesome looking boat. ....when I was on Ross Barnett, I rode with a guy that had a 19something foot Bullet with a 250 VMax. Holy hell that boat was F A S T!!
