Anyone make it out to Fairfield this weekend? Looking at giving it a try tomorrow, kind of a last hoorah before the shut down. Was wondering if they are still generating with the warmer days we've had recently, water temps, and if anyone had any luck the last couple of days.

Was there Saturday. First time out there, I want to say water temp was 67, it rained on and off all day. Soft plastics were a good bite out there. Caught 16 between me and my partner, not a stellar day to say the least. Quality is there. Caught numerous 17 in. Fish..

Appreciate all the info! Hopefully this little front that came through won't have much of an impact on them tomorrow.

Is the lake safe to run? Any underwater structure to be concerned with? I haven't been on the lake since I was a kid(probably around 1993) I remember catching the only freshwater redfish I've ever caught and it was about 8-10lb it was a giant. We have a couples tournament at the end of Feb. Not looking for any info other then running the lake.

Also heard that tow do not want to operate the lake and lake Fairfield will be slowly drained. Just what I have

Heard. What a shame that would be.
