Lost a reel and rod on fork $380.00 who's got wet suit that can help ill pay to get this back its in 9'-10' of water in white oak Sorry about your fishin pole. As some have said, it may cost you more than the rod & reel to hire a guy in scuba gear. Your best bet is a $1.99 chain link stringer on a 1/4" rope. I've lost a few rod & reels over the years and have even been lucky enough to retrieve one or two. Here's the problem that makes them so hard to snag. I threw one of my fave rigs in the swimming pool at my house and it slowly sunk to the bottom but stood almost straight up, reel down & tip up. Makes a pretty small target. Good luck buddy.

get an old metal fish stringer, open all the hook and tie it to heavy cord, and start dragging good luck this works , I see a few negative posts on this , however the open wire fishstringer will not catch the bottom/structure. it will flex, and not get hung. I have retrieved many rods doing this. p.S it is easier if the rod was deployed

Wouldn't a strong magnet tied to a rope pick it up?
