My wonderful wife gave me a Helix for Christmas. I installed on the front of my boat with Transducer on the Trolling motor. Cold, Ice and the Flu kept me from the lake till today. I went to some places that I fish on Palestine Some are community holes (155 bridge), Long points, and some brush piles. I was absolutely SHOCKED at the definition and clear picture. I have an 898 on console that Is just AWESOME, but this new unit was eye popping, I have been a Hummingbird guy for 40 plus years Using a SUPER SIXTY and even having a Paper graph.
Today with this unit I could see my lure bouncing up and down. The Down image was excellent.
My wife and I have been married for almost 45 years and she still surprises me.. Great Gal!

Congrats on the new finder.. I've been pretty happy with my Helix 9 too. just need to learn how to use it better.

i have a helix and 898 up front. The Helix DI is great.

On bright sunny days I could barely see my 898 on the bow. Replaced it with a Helix 10 DI. What a difference.

Santa not only brought me a Helix 10 and a Ultrex but he also installed them. Good dude, can't wait for my birthday.

Santa said he'd pay me back.....but, like Gump says "gubment must get that money"

He also said life's like a box of chocolate you never know what you're gonna get if anything. lol

Santa took everything to Classic Fiberglass and told Chris to hook them up the best way possible... he�s a good Santa, I made sure he got cookies and some crown by the fire place

I got the 7 Helix I used it today in Kickapoo creek on Palestine OMG did it ever help me stay in the creek! I used the DI to help me fins creek and stay right in it. I made a "trail" on the unit on the console, trying to keep me out of many of the stumps up there. Also had a trail on the 7 up front to help me follow the creek next time I go up there.
Very pleased with the set up that I have on my Xpress Boat. I installed a power pole last summer which made the creek fishing today easy Just 'pole down" and fish the bend with two or three different baits. Super excited to go again on Sunday.

I�m digging my helix 10 mega. I still need to play around with the si/di enhance settings but so far i�ve seen and found some pretty neat stuff.

I have been looking at the Helix 5... just gotta get the wife into letting me get it!

I�ve got a Helix 9 and Helix 7 and they are great!

Now that I have this new 7 what map card do I need to purchase?? The 7 has a micro sd card slot AND wondering if anyone has taken GPS from Google Earth and installed on your Hummingbird I am sure their are some 'young'uns ' that have done this
