Not a lot to report that's for sure. My partner and I only landed 8 fish and they were smaller fish at that. We caught them on shallow cranks, deep cranks and T/R plastic shallow and deep. It was tuff. I did see one angler who had a spot at the discharge that had them dialed in though. I watched him put around five bass in the three pound range in the boat. But it was a tight spot he was fishing. Saw few more small bass caught by others as well. I found bait balls and fish under them, but I couldn't get them to bite a thing.

Side note: Talked to a few guys and they told me that they were on some nice bass up shallow throwing A rigs when there was a south wind. Said they fished the same pattern yesterday and could not find a bite with the north winds. Just thought I would mention this, it might help out.

Phoenix it has been slow for most anglers out there lately. Even the guides are struggling to get on a good bite. But they are there somewhere, the question is, where is that somewhere? LOL Guess I'll turn to arrow head hunting for a few weeks till the bite picks back up. I'll go tomorrow and see how many I can pick up, I haven't been in a while.

My Grandfather and 2 uncles used to hunt for arrowheads around Austin when I was a kid. Had a lot of fun!

Rayzor I use to be into this hobby hot and heavy years back myself. I have managed to collect a little over 1600 points and all kinds of other Indian relics. I enjoy doing this a lot. But due to lower back issues and trashed out knees it has kept me from doing this like I use to. Over the past five years I've had a few or more body part overhaul surgeries, so I might be able to get out there and stomp around a little just enough to find a few more. LOL
