What is up with Triton Boats tiny cockpits? I am only 5"11 with some excess pounds and long legs but I literally could not fit in any of the Triton's cockpits or get my legs under the console except for the 21 footer. It is like they are designed for teenagers. And why does Ranger (and Nitro) have the floor under the console designed so the only way to mount a Hot Foot is dead center of the seat, which when combined with the Hot Foot's toe guard makes it VERY uncomfortable to use. I can imagine even worse in windy conditions. I am very confused.

Just a thought, did the boat maybe have an adjustable seat?

Yes and I jammed it as far back as I could, it did not move much and I verified the seat was pressed against the deck. The console drops so low it blocks access for my legs at the knee and even if that was not the case then the steering wheel still feels like it is way too close to my chest. And their seats are mounted almost directly to the deck instead of elevated as other boats are.

Get a center console with a leaning post. Plenty of leg room!!
