I'm fairly sure Zona, Hackney and/or Kreit would be fun to have a couple of cold ones with after a long day on the water.

Ohh man thats hard one. I m torn.... If we were shallow fishin It would definitely be Hackney, But if we are off shore Fishing ledges. I would definitely go with the best guy around! KVD. But, I wouldnt mind Seth Feider showing me how to catch a 25+lb bag of Small Mouth on Lake Mille Lacs! grin grin

Van Dam or Edwin Evers.

It's only a good cast if you catch a fish...

KVD , Hackney or Scott Martin. Really almost any pro except for Iaconelli. I think Id throw him out of the boat within 5 minutes. Im sure he is a nice guy and likes to teach but cant take his antics and screaming over a 1# fish

Right there with ya Andrew. I haven't seen any other Christie voters yet, surprising. His raw talent is unmatched.

I would love the opportunity to fish with him again. We were paired at the Ross Barnett Open in 2015. Unfortunately, we had miserable conditions that day... 25mph+ winds and downpours didn't lend itself to much conversation, but the interaction we did have was great...very down to earth and personable. He cracked me up to break the ice within seconds of getting in his boat with a statement I won't repeat on a public forum. What I took away from that day? Efficiency. Dude is a machine. Something that stood out to me was after we weighed our fish we went back to the boat and monitored the results on our phones. The sky opened up again and it starts pouring. I'm thinking we're gonna head back to the ramp and load up...nope. He's taking time to prep for the next day while the rain ensues...sharpening hooks, managing line, etc. Not phased at all, just focused.

What I've seen of Christie I would believe that about him. He seems to have the drive to make it to the pinnacle of the sport. I was really pulling for him at the last TTBC on Fork. Had it not been for the last hour 10+ for Ehrler, Christie would have won it.

I still remember Christie's comment, "I've give anything for 30 more minutes!"

Would be neat to see where his accolades stack up if he was in the game as long as KVD or when the Elites started. After giving up teaching/coaching, he made the jump from FLW to Eiltes fairly quick and with great success.
