Welcome to texas,Truthfuly Iam still learning what is going on here as well the folks on this fourum have been great to help out and share there knowledge as you will find out. I lived in jacksonville we pulled hgh speed lures as well for wahoo november till january wether permitting. I fished with a freind that was a charter capt. we fised for grouper mostley at cedar key west of gainsville. good luck.

i live in temple and i planning on a couple trips to the gulf this year if i can work out the dates. im looking to go out of port oconnor. short jump to gulf and deep water.what u want to do is up to u but i have been doing some checking and there is on place close to water with a dock u can leave ur boat in water for 1.00 ft per day. rooms are reasonable and can get kitchenette i have fished mexico,cal, wash oreg,alsaka and texas and la. enjoy getting out there in ocean nevsr know what u will catch. supposed to be lot of good fishing out there so guess will find out. havent fished this spot yet

well the name of the one place is tarpon motel. the rates appear reasonable and u can get info on line. i got it off a link. ill look it up and send it. also if ur planning a trip there let me know maybe we can meet up and go at the same time. fished off shore a lot but always nice to have back up just in case anything goes wrong. im open to arm twisting from first part of june on. i have a 19 ft trophy cc. u know where to find me lol

i forgot i have a site for daily forcast on the gulf area through weather underground.com i have the page in favorites. i just hunt till i find/anyway u need to have the right page and it will keep u updated. if u dont find it let me know and i will get u the page.
