I just saw Jaba the other day on my 600 pound life. Lives right outside Houston.

SUCKED!!!
wifey and I went to movies last night and shes never seen any of the Star Wars movies and she liked it...? I said if you liked that [censored], wait until you see one of the good ones.

humor in Star Wars...?some random Admiral chic driving the bus...?

they should have kept some sort of timeframe in check with these movies...Ive seen most of them and I still get confused what timeframe is for all this...please let this be the END before it gets any worse

Leah did die. She was sucked out into space, freezing and no oxygen.
But Wait!!!
She can breathe in space.
She does not freeze in space
And she flies in space like Superman!
Nothing like coming back from the dead to have a film make less sense.

Gravity still exists in space.

Guess I'll wait for HBO to pick it up.
Thanks for the heads up.

I thought it was really good. Not sure why yall are hating... Yeah it was different but come on, nothing stays the same and stays relevant.

It had good jokes, cool fight scenes, compelling characters, surprises. It was good. What do you want? Its a dang si-fi movie not the gospel.

I agree. I don't watch Star wars for its adherence to air-tight space physics theory or oscar-worthy acting. I watch it for cool looking space ships blowing s--- up, magical Lazer swords cutting stuff in half and cool music behind more stuff blowing up.

I actually thought it was clever how legendary characters like Akbar passed with no grand exit. It sucks, and you're thinking WTF at the time, but it makes sense when I think about it more. One of the themes carried through the film was that the individual people of the rebellion were not as important as ensuring the survival of hope, even if it gets scattered and thinned out at times. As long as the idea of resistance is alive, the rebellion is still alive.

I do agree it lacks character development and I hope we learn wtf snoke was about, but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the movie.

The porgs drove me nuts. The eyes and teeth are of a nocturnal insectivore. Yet they're what?? Penguins? Seabirdy type things? It's like some designer looked at his kid's toys and picked out the cutesy most obnoxious thing they could find, said "Oh, penguins are cute when they waddle!" and figured they'd make a mint.

That said. It's a space opera. It isn't supposed to be grand cinema. Shut up, eat your popcorn, and enjoy the movie.

They should have written Leia off better. Yes she died in real life after completion of the movie but modifications can be made. Yes they could have explained Snoke more. But Leia flying thru space really? I saw that and all I could say was REALLY? The Character Laura Dern played, what was the point with her?

This movie made as much sense as Rogue One... pretty much none.
It was my understanding Mark Hamill didnt want to do anymore movies
