I’ve never fished Lake Texoma . I’ll be heading up there In mid February . I know they won’t be spawning during that time . But , I was looking to get into a pre spawn bite . I was wondering if anyone knew of some spawning areas on Lake Texoma ?

Platter Flats is a good area and fairly protected from the south wind.
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed. Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.

Platters flat can be real good, all your main creeks are good during spawn...Big Mineral, Little Mineral, catfish bay, Eisenhower, Buncomb creek.

Platter flats?? Elaborate some? I sunk a lot of brush there but I'm not going to tell you where it is. They have a great launch ramp and easy to get to. If you're really interested I suggest launching there and explore, it's a pretty big area, good shore line and easy to navigate. You can get more acquainted by checking it out on google earth.

Come on Guys, whats the issue with asking a general question? The guy did not ask for baits, waypoints, or how to catch em. This is kind of what we do on the TFF, share information and learn. Contribute or just don't post at all.

I agree. Not everyone is a tournament fisherman trying to poach someone's spot.

Ha, nice try 361. Good photo's of the area though. I'm selling coordinates to the brush piles for $50 per brush pile though.

Website says... Platter Flats campground is one of the nicest places to camp on Lake Texoma then above it is a picture of the park sign with 3 shotgun blasts in it
