Its hard to imagine why any man and his wife and kid would be on the lake at 2AM on Dec. 26. A head scratcher for sure.

Sad deal Bobby was a nice guy. He fished EM & Worth a good bit over the years.

That so sad. Looked him up on Facebook and he updated profile pic Dec 14 with some big Cats at late PM and AM hours.
Terrible for his family.

Sad indeed. Sometimes good people don't use good common sense. Being on the lake after dark in the winter time is never smart, especially with small kids in the boat. Wow....

Ain't no fish worth that. If I want catfish I go to Pappadeaux's.

Sad deal for sure. Is there any info on what caused the boat to go down? Was in a bad situation on Benbrook about 8 years ago. Shouldn't have been on the lake but went anyways. We got lucky and made it out alive but the boat didn't. Was a life changer for sure. Prayers sent.

I read on Facebook the boat started taking on water and once in the water he was layered with so many clothes he couldnt make it to shore. Sad deal had a duck hunter drown on Caddo lake yesterday.

It is really sad. I just surprised when I hear boat capsizing and or taking on water. I wonder what size or type of boat? A sad reminder about life jacket on top or winter clothes. Very sad. Glad kids turned out ok.
