Regardless of how far you held it out, it is a real nice fish. I fish Conroe every once in a while, and have never pulled anything like that out.

I have heard people say Grass Carp ruined this lake. It’s good to see another fattie pulled out.

oh, I wish I could take pictures of the grass...it's really cleared the water up, and there's PLENTY of grass to fish...

I've seen fry everywhere too, which makes me happy.

Yeah, there is quite a bit of vegetation in the lake. I fished the north end of the lake in my kayak a few weeks ago, and there was grass everywhere. I found some pretty cool places to fish this summer. Conroe is a neat lake if you do some exploring.

no idea...it's CLEAR in Little Lake where I've been fishing.

I've never been north of 1097.
