Skeeter transducer mounting

How are you Skeeter guys mounting our ducers to the back. I’ve seen some mounted to the jackplate somehow. I know I need to move mine cause I keep flipping it up on stumps.

Mines mounted to the bottom of the step, right behind all the holes. Lol. Just surface mounted. Works really well there and it's safe from bottom contact.

Transducer shield and saver. Be sure to get the extension too for the jackplate
