All manufacturers seem to have at least 1 (if not all) boats priced on the websites or have a way to build a boat and see the list price. When I build the 521c Ranger Cup the way I want it, it list for about $75000. Is there any wiggle room for the dealer and can I expect to get this discounted? If so, about how much? Any help would be appreciated. I'm ready to pull the trigger.

I have found that they would rather keep the boat than to work on the price any.

Why buy new? Too many 1-2 year old boats out there that would save you boo-koos.

There is room for discount pricing. Also if I was forking out 70k for a boat I damn sure wouldn't buy used. I would order it exactly the way I want it not how someone else wanted it.

Why buy new? Too many 1-2 year old boats out there that would save you boo-koos. A lot of my buddies have been finding slightly used boats that look showroom condition and have gotten some pretty awesome deals! I have bought used and new. Just do not buy too used otherwise you will end up paying just to keep that thing on the water, lol! You never know what used boats have gone through. Texas Boat World will make ya feel pretty good about your purchase either way. I bought a boat from them right off the showroom floor one year and they gave me some wiggle room on the showroom price. Good Luck to ya!

Someone told me once they have 7% ish to work with on the boat, trailer and motor. Any options they added themselves I'd guess they have 30% to work with, not including the labor.
I'd also imagine there is some factory to dealer money tied to volume so maybe they would take a small loss if it meant they would get factory money.
Total speculation.

There is always wiggle room, I know for a fact on vehicles its way north of 25%, from MSRP and dealer cost. I bought 1 @ 33% below MSRP. I'm pretty sure on boats, outboards, and trailers its in the 30% range. But when it comes to accessories, such as TM, Graphs etc. its between 50% and100% mark up. When I go to buy a new truck, we start negotiating @ 20%off MSRP.I may have to go to10 dealers but I know from past experience that someone will sell me a truck. If I were new boat shopping intent on buying a complete new rig, I would start the serious talking @ 15-17% off MSRP.

If you're looking for a new Ranger and you're within a few hours of Eastland, you owe it to yourself to talk to Terry at Outdoor Specialties. Best prices I've seen and best service. https://osboats.com/
