Does anyone else have fishing terms that make you cringe when someone else uses them? For example, calling a big fish a donk or a donkey annoys the chit out of me. Calling Ray Roberts Ray Bob is another one.

Perch. There is an actual fish that has that name and it's not a bluegil or any other sunfish you can't identify.

"He is a good stick" "Has a big stack". Main reason I never fished tourneys.... just behind the cheating.

Haha. I hear you, but I'm guilty. Grew up calling all sunfish/bluegill perch and only after fishing with some mid-westerners a year or so ago did I realize the error in my ways. Been trying to fix it.
