I like that they always work, unlike spinners, spinnerbaits and cranks. I mainly fish for Green sunnies and Bass.

I sometimes use small ones in winter for the stocked rainbows but have better luck with panther martin in line spinners. Maybe I should use them more often for bass.

Absolutely. I love Tony Accetta Pet Spoons. IMHO nothing flutters, falls and swims like they do. They are my go to bait when wading or kayaking with the spinning rod. Here is a pic of one of last night's hybrids on one off the pier. Weighed in at 5-11.

I've tried Mepps Little Wolf. Action looks good but don't think I've caught anything on them, so I've lost confidence.

I use spoons mostly in saltwater. Daredevle is my go to brand.

I use them on a regular basis too. I find them the most reliable of all the options available.

One of my faves.....Very good from the bank as they case nice and far. You do need to be aware because they do get snagged. Cast a spoon where you see the sandies and shad blasting the surface!
Keep 'dem lines tight and enjoy the fight....!
