HIRE A GUIDE AND FISH FOR AT LEAST 1 DAY.......the lake is very deceptive....key on rocks and brush and fish the humps and ledges by the dam..... XD10's and football jigs....and shop ahead of time bc stuff their is expensive....very very expensive.....
The people in zapata are second to to none friendly.... i met shorty of shorty's tire barn at the auto zone.... what a good guy....and we were outside the auto parts store waiting for it to open and a local said we follow him to his house to borrow a couple of tools.....and offered a beer to boot.....
Have a good time
