Dirk is showing his age this year for sure. Always the last one back in transition and missing shots that he normally makes. This will probably be his last year and he will announce it during the summer. As far as players needing to go, I can think of a few. Matthews, Noel, Devin and Powell all come to mind. Barnes, JJ, DSJ, Kleber, Ferrell, and the other center (forgot his name)are all pretty good and could be useful to keep. This all comes down to Cuban sucking. He never should have blown up the championship team after 2011. Not to mention letting go of very good young players like Brandon Wright and Jae Crowder in the years after.

In baseball and to a lesser extent, football, players choose DFW because it's a decent place to raise a family, no income taxes. Etc. Basketball players want to go where they can be rap stars and movie stars. That ain't Dallas.

In basketball years Dirk has about 80 year old legs. A lot of mileage there. As far as him being the last one down the floor, that's by design. He fills the trailer position and he has for the last few seasons. He get's quite a few good looks at threes in transition because of it. What's pretty amazing is that Dirk is actually shooting his best 3 point percentage of his career in his 20th season. Yes defensively he is a liability. He tries, but it's virtually impossible for him to stay in front of anyone. He get's abused whenever he is involved in pick and roll situations.

Now who was it that called me an idiot when I said Nerlens wasn't a good player? Came with came with college stats and all. What say you now. Now my man from DUKE is the real deal.

By the way he runs, I can promise you him trailing in transition is not by design LOL

I think it's a given that everyone knows he is the slowest on the court. Yes him trailing is by design. It's called spacing the floor. OK if Dirk doesn't trail, then who do you want to? Somebody has to fill that space. I can guarantee you that him trailing isn't because he's the slowest one on the court. In Tim duncan's last season when he was the slowest player on the court for the spurs why wasn't he the trailer since he was the slowest? Because that wasn't the position on the floor that he played. Once more for clarification. Dirk is the slowest on the mavericks and possibly the whole nba.

What is the word you think I forgot? You added an extra word and I supposedly left a word out. So I guess it all evens out. Lol

Cuban should sell the team and let someone else try to rebuild because no one wants to come play here.
