Good morning Crappie Catchin' Compadres!!
I am looking to get a double style seat for my boat. When searching I see some options from under 100.00 to over 400.00 so I wanted to reach out and get some expert, experienced thoughts and recommendations from any of you that are using one.
Thanks very much!

I'm not a fan of the bench type double seats. Storage and transport are the big problems. And not being able to move easily from front to back of boat is another issue. The individual swivel type seat works best for me. Unfortunately, the one I use is no longer being made; Add-A-Seat. If I were buying now, I'd get the Sidekick from Millennium Marine. Best price I've seen is at Grizzly Jigs. https://www.grizzlyjig.com/p-502-sidekick-fishing-double-seat.aspxThe other option I'd consider is from Cumberland Crappie. http://www.cumberlandcrappie.com/DoubleSeatMount.htmlConsiderations are what type boat you have and ability to see once the boat is on plane. Double bench seat up front will block your view when running any style bass boat. The other two types above can be partially or totally removed and put back easily. If you have a center console with wide front deck, either style may work.

Dub-L-Seats are easy to store and will lock in place. Check out his web page or hit John up on Facebook.

I use the Cumberland brand. Works well. Stable and adjustable.

I've had a Dub-L-Seat on my Ranger for 3 years now. Extremely solid construction, and powder coat paint job is beautiful. I'm picky, and I researched seats for months before I purchased. It's as solid as it was the day I got it. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best available. Won several tourneys including 2017 CAT D2 State Championship and Anglers of the Year from that seat set up too, so there's that. I'm not sponsored or anything, just believe in the product. John Thomason is the owner, and they're located in Mississippi. He bought out the old Dub-L-Seat brand and improved it a bunch. Check him out on Facebook, or just go to the website: https://dub-l-seat.com/
