Is the picture from the Martin Die's area of BA Steinhagen? We used to camp there a lot. Lots of alligators. Great place to canoe. Not too lucky fishing there though. Once, a friend and I put in on the Angelina below Rayburn dam and canoed to Martin Dies. If I remember correctly, the Angelina joins the Neches and then breaks off again to go to the park. We brush crashed on that trip at a COE campsite we reserved in advance. Lots of history there. Cool place. If the picture is of that area, thanks for sharing it. Brings back good memories.

Ah yes. I didn't see the pickerel in the photo, and I thought the boat lane markers might be wood duck boxes. Looks a lot like Dam B. I've been to Caddo a few times but only within a couple of miles of the state park. That's a great place too.

Yep, Caddo for sure. The only pickerel I have ever caught was on Caddo, the very first time I fished there. Have never caught one since.

Hang a left to Old Folks Playground, straight to Johnson's Ranch, or right to Potter's Point. Lived there 15 years and strung lines under the yak
