They don't even have a place ready to build a boat, and do they even have a boat? Somebody has some DEEP pocketed investors

My hope is they price a little cheaper or they are going to have trouble making it. Still hard(for me) to get past Ranger name(all I've ever owned). Reduced price produced by this bunch could sway me

this group has always been about the upper end an quality products it not like they woke up one morning an went out an got a bunch of investors an said there needs to be anther boat builder out there. they understand the industry an know what they want to be there market to be. with them opening up shop up there where there are several builders in the area it will be good for the labor force because the workers that excel in the jobs will get more money an with more choices of product it will be good for the consumer. I would doubt like some of the small builders left in the business that half the boats they produce will be team boats.

What small boat company has half of their boats as team rigs? That's always been a ranger thing and being as these were the people that saw that as a good plan, I don't see why that would change. Not saying it's a bad plan, it obviously worked for ranger.

??? WHY ???
if you make something of good quality people will buy it.
some people buy on price but there is ALWAYS a market for quality & expertise and sometimes that market is better than the low end gutter market.
especially in non-disposable goods ,,,,,, like boats that are used for many many years.

we are certainly not the cheapest product in our industry but we have no problem selling our products to the market......Plus we are an extremely profitable company paying our stockholders very well with dividends.

Spot on.

I'm betting they'll have a leaner faster boat with all the quality that Ranger USED TO put in their boats prior to White River buying and putting a textile manager in charge of Ranger boats.

clap

I agree 100% ..... these guys are not dummies
I'm sure they have developed a very nice business plan to introduce a new boat into the market.
Apparently they feel that 1.)there is a need, or 2.)they can do it better than the other guy, or 3.)BOTH

GOOD LUCK to them !

This is a risky venture that I am sure was put into play the moment they finished signing the paperwork to sell Ranger. I am glad to hear that they are starting with original employees and look forward to the product lines they will debut.
