Coach Patterson signed to coach at TCU to or thru 2023. Good signing for both him and the team.

Patterson has won a total of 20 national coach of the year honors in his 16-year head coaching tenure at TCU. His .734 winning percentage (149-54) ranks fifth among active coaches nationally (minimum 10 years). He is also one of just three active coaches with at least 149 victories at their current school.
The Horned Frogs have won at least 10 games in 10 of the last 15 seasons. Included in that stretch are nine 11-win campaigns. Prior to Pattersons arrival on campus in 1998, TCU had just four 10-win seasons in its history.

Even before they joined the big 12 , THEY spanked the big boys every time they played. Then came to the big 12 and kicked assume with players the big boys didn't want, I have no tied to tvu, but I'll take him if I need a coac. Recorf speaks for its self. Record doesn't lie.

Yeah, nobody wants that guy... Just for the heck of it... name one school that has asked TCU permission to interview Patterson.

And no national championships, or BCS playoff appearances and he never will win a NC. TCU hasn't won a National championship in 80 years.

Never paid much attention to TCU until they started to have some consistent success under Patterson. I enjoy watching them because they show up to play, are well prepared, and don't quit no matter what the score. You have to give Patterson credit because they had no real national recognition as a competitive team before. I wish them the best and think they have fought hard to earn whatever comes their way.
