 Best Two months to Catfish?

I have been having my Parents come down to fish from Oklahoma (don't hold that against me). Once in May and Once this month. I was wondering what two months is the best for catching catfish from the bank. ?

From my experience, I would say end of May through June, but I guess it all depends on the water temp.

May and June definitely, when they spawn up close. If you're wanting to just target big ones February is excellent for big blues cause you can cast onto big 4ft deep flats on warm days for the big ones patrolling for baitfish.

It depends on the species of cats, flatheads, may and October, channels, may and June, blues, December and January. The big flatheads are feeding up for winter right now, live bluegill or bullheads should net something.

My uncle hucker always said may and December are the best 2 months and he caught biggerns
